You can filter the list of items to restrict the number of items that appear in the Item Explorer panel table.
Use this feature to search for an item, or to view information for a group of items.
Filtering methods
List filtering is based on two methods: the filter string and the selected tags. You can use them separately or together.
Filter string
The filter string removes from the table all the items whose name does not include the content of the string.
For example, if the filter string is 13, items such as RF1300_232 or RF0800_213 are kept, while items such as D1404 or RF0800_212 are removed.
The table content automatically updates while editing the filter string.

RF1300_232 RF0800_213 |
D1404 RF0800_212 |
Remove filtering
-
Clear the filter string to remove the filtering.

Tag filtering
Tag filtering is based on item tagging. Every item may have none, one, or more tags.
When selecting one or more tags, the list is reduced to those items that have one or more of the selected tags.
Notes
-
Tag filtering is based on the OR convention, so an item needs to have only one of the selected tags.
-
If the selected tags are Valves and Section01, the list contains all the items that have the Section01 tag and all the items that have the Valves tag.
-
When tags is set to Select All, the tags filtering is disabled.
-
Select List only active item to restrict the list to active items only.
