The Animation Clip Editor is a specialized interface of the Graphic Context Editor that has been created specifically to edit the AnimationClip node. The Editor enables you to create complex animations using a visual timeline representation of the animation frames.

Main interface components
The Animation Clip Editor interface has four main areas:
-
Player Control. Enables you to play and pause the animation to move fast forward/backward and to start recording.
-
Channels Area. Lists the animation channels and enables you to manage them.
-
Timeline Area. Visually represents the animation frames for each visible channel and enables you to manage keyframes and identify the current animation frame. The timeline area includes controls to scroll the timeline and to change frame width (zoom). Otherwise, scroll the mouse wheel while pressing Shift to control the zoom.
-
Interpolation Area. Enables you to manage keyframe interpolation modes.
The Animation Clip Editor does not include all the fields of the AnimationClip node. Those that belongs to the clip itself, and not to its channels, such as length, range, and fps are managed by the standard Graphic Context Editor Node Fields Manager.
