Selection modes

  • Last UpdatedDec 04, 2023

Selection mode enables you to interact with the plant in a similar way to the mode available for players.

When Selection mode is active, the selectable items have a colored silhouette (red in the sample image) to help identify them. Some items may also show a label texture with its name.

Using selection modes

When Selection mode is active, there are two selection modes to switch between:

  • Mouse selection. Select an item by entering its silhouette with the mouse pointer.

  • Gamepad selection. Select an item by placing the interaction pointer (displayed at the center of the screen) inside the item silhouette.

The selected object shows a blinking silhouette of a different color (green in the example).
