Limited release: This a limited release of XR. It does not contain all of the features and tools that are described in this documentation.
New features
These features are new or changed in the AVEVA™ XR 5.1.0 release.

Improved Animation Clip Editor. We added way to manipulate multiple frames and keyframes.

Added automatic file back-up system to help recover unsaved files when application crashes.

It's now possible to add module paks to a project using the Create Item From Template interface.

We've added support for multi-line sstrings in Debug panels.

Scene Explorer context menu. There are new contextual actions in Scene Explorer to select parented nodes and get element full names.

Improved GC functionalities to better place special types of nodes. See Move content in the 3D View.

Redesigned XR Studio settings with the introduction of a dedicated XR Studio Editor Parameters.

Deprecated and Discontinued
Deprecated features
Functionality is marked as deprecated when a specific function or feature is still supported in the current release, but might be removed in a future release. We advise that you phase these features out of your projects and begin to use alternative features.

CVP3DVSManager node has been deprecated. Use CVSCloudManager instead.

Camera cave fields - Cave visualization management should now be done through the newly introduced Viewport node.

Legacy 2D nodes - These legacy nodes are kept because they appear inside some old module scripts.

Discontinued features

Removed support for 3DVision and SLI rendering paths.
