Naming a Touch Button Item (Legacy 3DS MAX)

A Touch Button can be used to create flat stateless touch buttons. It is modeled with a simple mesh; generally, a plane.

Building the item

  • Create the mesh of the button.

  • Check bObjectSpace in each geometry.

  • Reset the transformations of the mesh with the Reset Objects State tool.

Comments

  • The touchbutton mesh material must contain a texture called touchbutton_default.png. This must be mapped 0-1 to the screen area.
