Maps panel

The Maps panel of XR Instructor provides a high-level overview of a plant, which is useful for identifying field operator and equipment positions.
You can select one of the plant maps and pan and zoom over it.
Overlays
Some different types of information overlay can display over a map:

Field operators: Position and orientation.

Plant cameras: Position and orientation.

Items added to hint list: position and name.

When enabled, the compass displays as an overlay to the maps in the upper left corner.
Map Tools
These tools appear on the Maps panel.

Map selection |
Enables you to select a map from the available maps. |

Move |
Enables you to drag map across screen. |

Zoom |
Use the slide on right bar to zoom in and out the map. |

Double Click |
Double-click an item to move the 3D view to the corresponding object position. This feature works only if the viewer is in free-camera mode. |

Scrollbars |
Adjusts the viewable map area, if the view area is smaller than map. |
