Setting Item actions

By default, all actions of items in a group are inherited by the grouped item.

This can create some conflict if some actions are duplicated or shortcut commands are assigned to different item actions.

Resolving action conflicts

To resolve action conflicts, the typical tasks are:

• Remove unneeded or duplicate actions by using the item.action\actionName\active parameter of the single items.

• Reconcile the shortcut commands for the remaining actions.

• Set the actionOrder for the active actions.

Good practice

• It is a good practice to always use shortcut commands always for the same types of actions.

• It is better to have actions without shortcut commands than use one shortcut command for multiple purposes.
