Item Explorer panel

The Item Explorer panel of XR Instructor lists all the identified items in the plant.

The Item Explorer is the starting point for instructors to interact with the plant equipment.

Status of items

The are two type of status for items in the list:

• Active items

• Not active items whose showItemWhenInactive parameter is set to True.

Filtering

Since there can be a large number of items, there is filtering capability to filter the displayed content.

Details

For each item, the Item Explorer displays the following:

• Shows its realtime status (Active items only).

• Enables you to display it in 3D (only if the Plant view is in free camera mode).

• Enables you to open the dedicated control to work on it (Active items only).

• Adds/removes the item from the item hint list.

Note: Identified items are have a silhouette.
