On the Lexer tab, you can make custom mappings between file types and lexers.
Map file types and lexers

On the File menu, point to Preferences, and select XR Studio.

On the Lexer tab, you can customize the lexer–extension mapping one at a time.
At any time, the mapping can be restored to the default values for the available lexers by pressing Restore current tab defaults button.
