Project Uplift log files

Generated log file

After each successful uplift, an uplift log file is generated. The file is named using the following format:

uplift_log_yyyyMMdd_HHmmss.log

The log file is stored in the upliftlogs directory under the project’s root folder.

Log file content

Each uplift log file contains the following sections:

• Uplift information

  Provides general information about the uplift, including the project name, project template, project directory, and the timestamp of the uplift.

• Version changes

  Lists all version migrations performed during the uplift process.

• Important changes

  Highlights notable changes introduced by the migrated versions that require user awareness or action.

These log files serve as a footprint of all uplifts that the project has undergone.

Important changes section

The Important Changes section is included only when notable changes are detected in the target versions. Each change is classified by its origin (Framework or Template) and associated with the specific version in which it was introduced.

For visibility and user awareness, important changes are also displayed before confirming the uplift.
