Crew Setup

Crews are a new way of grouping mobile application users on duty during a given shift. Crews can be thought of as a way of dividing repeating periods of time (typically 14 to 28 days) into easily managed chunks.

Note: Crew Setup requires that Shift Setup be completed first. Please refer to the Shift Setup section of this chapter for more information.

To access Crew Setup, select it from the expanded Scheduling list. The Crew Setup screen will appear.

Note: This documentation assumes that you have sufficient permissions to access the application and its features. Without sufficient permissions, functions within applications are inaccessible. For more information regarding the permissions required by the Management Center and its applications, see the AVEVA Mobile Operator web application.

Crew Setup has two sections. Please refer to the "Crew Setup" section below for more information on using these sections:

  • On the left side, an alphabetically sorted list of configured Crews appears. The only function of this list is to allow the selection of the Crew to modify. Select a Crew in this list by left-clicking its name.

  • To the right, the Details screen provides two sections used to edit the attributes of the currently selected Crew:

    • General: Allows the user to name and describe the Crew, as well as define its Start Date and Rotation Period.

    • Rotation: Provides a calendar-like view of the Rotation Period, allowing the user to define the Crew’s Rotation Pattern.
