Servers also require the following:

• .NET Framework 4.8.1

• MSOLEDBSQL 19 driver for TLS 1.2 connection for both Client and Server installations.

  Notes:
  - The .NET Framework 4.8.1 and MSOLEDBSQL 19 driver are included with the AVEVA Mobile Operator Server and will be installed if it is missing. If you are using AVEVA Mobile Operator in a non-English language, you must use the .NET 4.8.1 Runtime Offline Installer (available at the Microsoft website) in order to install the required Language Pack(s).
  - AVEVA Mobile Solutions supports the implementation of AVEVA Mobile Operator using Virtual Machine technology to host the supported database software versions. Contact AVEVA Mobile Solutions Support for assistance in sizing the Server hardware for this type of installation.
  - The .NET Framework 4.8.1 is supported only on Windows Server 2022 and later. As a result, Mobile Operator Server running on Windows Server 2019 or earlier cannot be upgraded to use .NET Framework 4.8.1.
