Clone Groups and Copy Group information in Group view

From the "Group" view, right-click a Group to open the following options:

• Copy System Permissions: Copies the System Permission(s) assigned to the selected Group to the Clipboard.

• Copy Bases: Copies the Base(s) (representing Application Permissions and Roles) associated with the selected Group to the Clipboard.

• Clone: Creates an identical clone of the selected Group, complete with all the Permission(s) and Base(s) assigned to it. The Clone will be named "Copy of (UserGroup)" where (UserGroup) is the name of the original User Group.

  Note: Creating clone of a Group is supported only in Local authentication mode. To know more about authentication modes, see the AVEVA Mobile Operator Installation Guide.

• Paste: Pastes the copied System Permission(s) or Base(s), depending on which option was selected for the "Copy" action, to the selected location.

  Note: The "Paste" option is shaded (unavailable) if no data exists in the clipboard, or if any of the data in the clipboard is inappropriate for the target.

• Delete: Deletes the selected Group and all associations to other entities (e.g. Bases).

  Caution: The "Delete" operation cannot be undone.
