Several requirements and suggestions apply to database scripting. Please read the following before using the Database Scripts Utility.

  1. AVEVA recommends that all scripts be run by your Database Administrator or by a qualified professional experienced in database management.

  2. DBO (Database Owner) privileges, or permissions, equivalent to that of "sa" (the System Administrator) are required for most database-related activities.

  3. The Database Scripts Utility can only be run from the local machine. Copy the "\Products\DatabaseScripts" folder, and all of its contents, from the source to a desired location on the local machine in order to run the utility.

    Caution: Prior to running scripts to update a database from an earlier version of IntelaTrac, detach the database or make a backup copy.
