Formula component browser

To the right of the keypad, a large browser with a vertical tab layout provides access to various keywords, operators, and functions.

Note: The list of keywords, operators, and functions are extensible with DLL files provided by AVEVA. Contact Professional Services for more information.

To insert a keyword, operator, or function, either type the keyword directly into the "Formula" text box within the Expression Editor, or follow the instructions below to use the Browser.

1. Click on the apropriate tab, e.g. "General," which makes available the following options.

   

2. Double-click the desired keyword, operator, or function, located in in the provided list, e.g. @ROUND.

3. The selected keyword, operator, or function is inserted in the "Formula" text box at the location of the cursor. An open parenthesis is also provided, if required by the selected item’s syntax.
