Condition Wizard: Date and Date / Time

A Condition whose Task is configured for the "Date" or "Date Time" data type will appear as follows:

To configure this wizard, follow the steps below.

1. Click the drop-down list next to the label "Value" to select the comparison.

   

   The Condition will assess "true" as follows:

   1. = : Task value is equal to the specified value.

   2. <> : Task value is not equal to the specified value.

   3. > : Task value is greater (later) than the specified value.

   4. >= : Task value is greater (later) than or equal to the specified value.

   5. < : Task value is less (earlier) than the specified value.

   6. <= : Task value is less (earlier) than or equal to the specified value.

2. Enter the desired values in one of the following manners:

   1. Use the Expression Editor to enter a formula returning a "Date" or "Date Time" data type, as appropriate:

      • Click the button and select "Expression Editor."

      • Click the ellipsis button () to enter the Expression Editor.

      • Refer to The Calculation Expression Editor for instructions.

   2. Select the "Date or "Date Time" options as appropriate. Refer to Value Selector - Date and Date / Time for details on these options.

   

   

3. Optionally, configure an additional comparison by repeating the steps above for the lower "Value" item. This can be used, for example, to specify a limited range within which the Condition will trigger.
