Federated Identity Provider

AIM service is configured to federate user authentication with CONNECT. It enables the user to configure external Identity providers like Azure AD and CONNECT under the new Federated Provider Plugin available when installing PCS 8.0 or later.

• Federated Identity Provider will be installed with the Configurator plugin.

• Federated external providers are only available to configure if SMS or RSSO nodes are configured.

  Note: Not all AVEVA products support authorization using federated identity providers. Refer to your product documentation to see if this feature is supported by your product.
