License Information

Use the License Information setting to view and configure the available camera libraries in your mobile. You need these libraries in your mobile for scanning the barcode and QR code .

• ZXing

• Cognex

ZXing

You can use the ZXing open source library for an accurate barcode scanning. To select the ZXing library, perform the following step.

• Tap ZXing to select the ZXing library.

Cognex

You can use the Cognex library for barcode scanning. This is a paid library and you must have a valid license key from Cognex.

To configure the Cognex library

Steps:

1. Tap Cognex to select the Cognex library.

   The Key text box appears.

2. In the Key box, do one of the following:

   • Enter the license key provided by Cognex and then select the back button.

   • If you have the QR code of the license key, then select the scan button to scan the code. After the scan, the license key will appear in the Key box.

   The License Validation message box appears, indicating that the validation is successful.

   Note: License validation is now done in the AVEVA Scanner app. Validation does not happen when you manually enter the license key until the next attempted scan.
