The list of fields screen appears.

    2. Tap to select a field.

The field is selected, and the peripheral device screen appears.

The default value is Barcode for camera and NFC for NFC Reader.

      Note:
      - When you configure a Land Cyclops peripheral device, ensure:
      - - The Classic trigger function is set on the peripheral device.
      - - The Input Field, configured in the Management Center, matches the pin switches on the peripheral device. For example, if the pin switch is set to Peak, then you should select Maximum for the Input Field. Similarly, if the pin switch is set to Valley, then you should select Minimum for the Input Field.

      Advanced

Advanced search/input device settings provide device specific settings to configure for a peripheral device. The following advanced settings are for the default supported peripherals:

      Land Cyclops 100L/390L

Advanced settings for Land Cyclops provide device specific settings to configure for the peripheral device.

      Units of Measure

Unit of measure governs the method of temperature measurement.

Type 1 for Celsius and 0 for Fahrenheit.

      The default value is 0.

      Bluetooth Address

Bluetooth address is provided for troubleshooting purposes only and should not be modified.

      Bluetooth PIN

Bluetooth PIN is a number to pair a Bluetooth peripheral device with a mobile device.

      The default value is 0000.

      Timeout

Timeout is the number of milliseconds the app will wait for a response from the peripheral device before trying again.

The default value is 3000 milliseconds (3 seconds).

      Inter-char Timeout

Inter-char timeout specifies the length of the delay between transmissions that is used to indicate the end of a message/input from the peripheral device.

A smaller value can improve performance but may cause communications failures on slower or heavily loaded processors.

The default value is 200 milliseconds (0.2 second).

      Update Rate

Update rate specifies the rate at which data is updated from the peripheral device.

The default value is 500 milliseconds (0.5 second), and the update rate should not be set lower than this value.

      Sleep Duration

Sleep duration is the number of milliseconds that the peripheral device waits before taking another reading.

The default value is 1000 milliseconds (1 second), and the sleep duration should not be set lower than this value.

      Raytek Raynger MX4 with Bluetooth

Advanced settings for Raytek Raynger MX4 with Bluetooth provide device specific settings to configure for the peripheral device.

Bluetooth PIN is provided for troubleshooting purposes only and should not be modified.

      Timeout

Timeout is the number of milliseconds the app will wait for a response from the peripheral device before trying again.

The default value is 3000 milliseconds (3 seconds).

      Inter-char Timeout

AVEVA Mobile Operator Peripherals Windows SDK

The AVEVA Mobile Operator Peripheral Windows SDK provides users the ability to use a new peripheral for procedure execution. This SDK helps to create a communication channel between the peripheral and AVEVA Mobile Operator App. For more information, see the AVEVA Mobile Operator Peripheral SDK Guide.

      Notes:

      - Make sure the peripherals Windows application is running before installing AVEVA Mobile Operator app. If AVEVA Mobile Operator app is installed prior to running the peripheral Windows application, you must restart the AVEVA Mobile Operator app, run the peripheral Windows application and then tap Refresh in the Search/Input Device screen.

      - The peripherals will only be available for search and input if the Windows application is running.

      - At this time, the SDK only supports development with .NET Framework for x64/86 architecture.
