Click the "Advanced" tab, if desired, to set advanced attributes.

Tag: Assigns a unique name to this Task so that its input can be used in calculations, or so that the Task itself can serve as the destination for a Jump operation. This item has a 50 character limit and cannot contain unshifted brackets [ ].

Update calculation referencing tag: Updates all referencing calculation expressions with the updated tag, if any, of the current task. This button is only available when the Tag is updated. The updated tag must be unique.- The updated tag must be unique.

Click the Update the calculations referencing tag button, if you have updated the tag.

You can save the Task only if you have updated the calculations referencing to the node value of the Task, if any.
Note: In case of a copy-paste operation, you need to update the tag manually.You must not use the Update calculation referencing tag button as it will update the original tag in all the places where it is referenced in a calculation.

Display Format: This field affects how mobile application user input appears in audits and reports (it does not modify the mobile application user’s actual input). This option only applies when the Task is configured for Number, Date, or DateTime input, and acts differently for each, as described below.
Number

Whole number: Truncates decimal input, if any, and separates every three whole number places with a comma.

Commas for tens: Truncates decimal input to the tenths place, and separates every three whole number places with a comma.

Commas for hundreds: Truncates decimal input to the hundredths place, and separates every three whole number places with a comma.

Commas for thousands: Truncates decimal input to the thousandths place, and separates every three whole number places with a comma.

Fixed point: Truncates decimal input to the tenths place.

General: Displays input exactly as entered by the mobile application user.

FeetInches: Defines the denominator used for fractions of an inch. Available selections are in half, quarter eighths, sixteenths, and thirty-seconds. This setting alters the input method used on the mobile device; for example, the mobile user will see the following for a Task set to eighths:

"Override Configuration" Section:

Allow Out of Service: The Mobile user may select the "Place Back in Service" option from the AVEVA Mobile Operator app "Tools" menu. This clears the "Out of Service" attribute from this Task.

Allow Manual Override: The mobile user may select the "Manual Override" option from the AVEVA Mobile Operator app "Tools" menu to provide manual input to a Task configured to accept its input from a peripheral. This option is available when a Task is assigned to a peripheral integration.
"Value Control" Section:

Required: Check this box to force the mobile application user to complete this Task before closing the Procedure as "Complete." If a Task so marked is not completed, the Procedure can only be marked "In Progress," preventing its results from upload unless the Procedure is set to "Allow Transfer of Partial Data" (see Procedure Attributes - Advanced tab).

Use Last Value: Provides the last entered value for this Task as a Default (see Task Attributes - General tab), allowing the mobile application user to either accept or modify it.

Require Handwritten Signature: Prompts the mobile application user with a signature entry field after the Task is completed and before moving to the next Task.

Require Digital Signature: Prompts the mobile application user to enter AVEVA Mobile Operator app password after the Task is completed and before moving to the next Task.

Require Ancestor Scan: Configures the Task to require a scan of the closest Ancestor marked as a scan point before it can be answered (see Task Group Attributes - Scan/Lock interactions tab).

Ignore Parent Status: Configures this Task for availability even if its Task Group is Disabled.

Force Recalculation: Check this box to ensure recalculation of this Node’s calculation expression when the mobile user (re)visits this Node.
