This smaller calendar, displayed at the lower left of the Schedule Manager, allows quick selection of the day, or range of days, displayed in the Calendar. The Range Selector will always display six weeks based on the selected month, where the first week contains the first of the month and any days preceding. This calendar is unique and warrants in-depth documentation here.

The selected day, or date range, will be highlighted in orange; in the above example, the selected range spans April 12, 2007 to April 14, 2007. The current day – April 19, 2007 in the above example – is surrounded by a red box. The day numbers for months falling outside of the displayed month are shown in grey text to aid in identification, but are still selectable.
To use the range selector, first use one of two methods to navigate to the month containing the desired day / day range:
-
By left-clicking the arrows,
and
, to advance back, or forward, one month at a time respectively.
-
By clicking the Month / Year heading (in the example below, "April 2007,"), holding down the mouse button, selecting another month, and releasing the mouse button. This method allows skipping up to three months into the future, or past, from the currently selected month. Once the desired month is highlighted, release the mouse button to jump to that month / year.
-
By clicking on the Range Selector’s title, then using the mouse scroll wheel, or the PgUp / PgDn keys on the keyboard, to scroll through the months.

There are also two ways to select the desired range of consecutive days in the Range Selector.
-
By left-clicking the desired Start Date of the range, holding down the SHIFT key on the keyboard, and left-clicking the desired End Date of the range.
-
By dragging with the left mouse button from the desired start Date to the desired End Date.

When selecting date ranges greater than 7 days, the Range Selector will select an amount of whole weeks necessary to enclose the desired date range. This is done to maintain continuity of the Calendar display so that it is always divided into an equal number of days. Thus, the selection being performed above would result in the forced selection shown below.

For example, if "This Month" is clicked during January 2007, the range selected will include December 31, 2006 to February 3, 2007.
Note: Selection of multiple days must be consecutive.
Note: The selected month and days are remembered between sessions per Windows user.
