AVEVA™ Mobile Operator

Automatic log off

  • Last UpdatedFeb 19, 2025
  • 1 minute read

If configured by an administrator, AVEVA Mobile Operator will automatically log off the current user at the end of a shift. When a shift concludes, a push notification appears alerting the user that the shift has ended.

The user may take one of the following actions:

  • Swipe left: Clears the notification, and will be considered a dismissal.

  • Swipe right: Activates the app and continues the current login session for the next shift.

  • Slow Swipe left: Displays two buttons View and Clear.

    • View: Activates the app and continue user session for next shift.

    • Clear: Clears the notification and will be considered a dismissal

  • Clear All: Considered a dismissal

If the user does not act on the notification after a period of time set by the administrator, the app saves the active task value, closes the session, and returns the user to the login screen.

Note:
- After every initial sync in a Plant, you must log off and log in again for the Auto Logoff or Sync Reminder to work.
- If you have disabled the Dedicated Device Mode on the web app, then for Auto Logoff to work, you must perform a full sync, log out, and log in again.
- For Azure Active Directory (AD) user, it is important to log out of the mobile app when you close the app.
