Install AVEVA Mobile Operator for Android

AVEVA Mobile Operator app is installed on the mobile device through app marketplace such as Play Store or through sideloading. Sideloading is directly copying and installing the APK file of the app on the mobile device bypassing the app marketplace.

To enable sideloading of apps

1. Tap the Settings app shortcut in the All Apps screen.

   The Settings app is opened.

2. Tap Security.

   The Security section is opened.

3. Tap to select Unknown sources.

   A confirmation message appears.

4. Tap OK.

   The mobile device is enabled for sideloading of apps.

To install AVEVA Mobile Operator

5. Copy the Mobile Operator APK file to a folder on the mobile device.

6. Tap the APK file.

   The installation screen appears.

7. Tap Install.

   The app is installed, and the information screen appears.

8. Do one of the following:

   • Tap OK to close the information screen.

   • Tap Launch to open the app.

Note:
- To install the app from the Play Store, refer to the Install or purchase apps & digital content on Google Play Help. The other way is to sideload the app.
- The exact steps may vary based on the mobile device. However, the process remains the same. If you need help, refer to the User Manual of the mobile device.
- The steps for sideloading provided here are for reference only and is not supported by the Technical Support team.
- By default, the installed app is available only to the current user of the mobile device. If your mobile device supports user profiles, then you should install the app separately for each user, as the license, app and related data are not shared between users of the mobile device.
