Procedures On Demand

Use Procedures On Demand to assign procedures that are available on demand to you or to a role. When a procedure is assigned to the user or role, it is removed from the list of procedures on demand, and added to the list of New & In Progress procedures.
By default, procedures on demand are available for assignment as configured for the Launch POD Assigned To in the the System Settings module of the AVEVA Mobile Operator web application.
To access Procedures On Demand

Tap the Menu button, and then tap Procedures On Demand.
The Procedures On Demand screen appears.
To assign a procedure on demand to yourself

Tap Assign to Me.
The procedure is assigned to you, and is opened.
To assign a procedure on demand to a role
-
Tap Assign to Role for a procedure.
The Assign to Role screen appears.

Tap a role.
The procedure is assigned to the role, and is opened.
Searching for a Procedure
You can search for a Procedure either by using the Search or Scan buttons provided on the top bar.
You can use the following search options to search for a procedure from the list of Procedures .

Procedure Name
-
Procedure Description
-
Asset Name
-
EPC
-
Keyword
If the search contains only one search result, then it launches the Procedure directly with out displaying any result. However, before launching the Procedure, it checks for the following conditions:

In the Procedure page, if you have only one search result, it launches the Procedure.

In the Procedures On Demand page, if you have only one search result and the procedure is assigned only to you (the Assigned to Me option is enabled), then it launches the procedure.
Note: If the Procedure is assigned to Role, then it will appear as a search result.

In the Dashboard page, if you have only one search result and:

The search result is in Procedure section, it launches the Procedure.

The search result is in Procedures On Demand section, then it launches the Procedure only if it is assigned to you (the Assigned to Me option is enabled).

To search for a Procedure by using the Search button:

Tap on the Search button provided in the top bar.
A screen appears, displaying the search options.

Click on the required search option and then enter the search string in the Type Here box.
For example, if the asset associated to a procedure is 'Transformer', then in the box enter 'Transformer' and then select the search option 'Asset Name'.

Click the Search button provided next to the text box.
The procedures matching the search criteria, appears.
To search for a Procedure by using the Scan button:

Tap on the Scan button provided in the top bar.
The camera appears.

Scan the QR code.
The procedures matching the search criteria appears.
To search for a Procedure having an asset by using a peripheral device

Press the trigger button on the peripheral device.
The RFID of the asset is read by the peripheral device, and the Results screen appears with procedures having the searched asset.
Note:- The trigger to read from the peripheral device may vary based on the peripheral device. However, the process remains the same. If you need help, refer to the User Manual of the peripheral device.
To search a Procedure having an asset using the Camera as Soft Trigger

On the Action bar, tap the Scan Asset icon.
The viewfinder screen appears.
Note: If multiple soft trigger are configured for the node, tap the peripheral to scan the asset.

Focus the barcode or QR code in the frame and wait till it is automatically scanned.
The Results screen appears with procedures having the searched asset.
Note: Tap the Flash icon to turn the Mobile Device Flash on or off. By default, the Mobile Device Flash is turned off.
To search a Procedure with an asset using NFC

Take the NFC enabled device near the NFC tag.
The mobile device scans the NFC tag of the asset, and the Results screen appears with procedures having the searched asset.
Note: The NFC enabled device should be within 4 centimeters from the NFC tag to read the data accurately.
