Add local User Groups (Optional)

To add Local User Groups, do the following:

  1. In the Security Manager, click the List Manager menu.

  2. Select the Edit option, and then click Permission Manager.

    The Permission Manager tab opens in the workspace.

  3. From the View Type menu, select Group.

  4. Right-click the User Groups workspace and then click Add Local User Group.

    An Add Group window appears.

  5. Enter the name of the user group in the Group Name text field and then select OK.

    Note: The user group name text box cannot be blank. User group names cannot exceed 50 characters in length. They can contain alphanumeric and special characters.

    The User Group appears in the workspace.

  6. Click the File menu in Security Manager and select Save to save the user group. Alternately, you can press CTRL+S or right-click the tab and select Save.
