Expression Wizard menu options

The menu provided by the Wizard presents the following options.

• Clear: Clears any existing Wizard or Expression Editor input.

  Note: Refer to Copy and Paste Wizard formulae for more information regarding the copy and paste functions listed below.

• Copy: Copies the calculation expression to the clipboard in XML format.

• Paste: Pastes the calculation expression in the clipboard to the input field. This option is inaccessible if there is no expression in the clipboard, or if the expression in the clipboard returns an inappropriate data type.

• Paste Expression: Pastes the calculation expression in the clipboard to the input field. This option is inaccessible if there is no expression in the clipboard, but will allow pasting an expression that returns an inappropriate data type.

• Value Selector or Legacy Calculation Editor: Sets Wizard mode for the selected Expression. After selecting this option, the appropriate Wizard options below become available.

• Expression Editor: Sets Expression Editor mode for the selected Expression. After selecting this option, the user can click the ellipsis () button to open the Calculation Expression Wizard. Refer to The Calculation Expression Editor for instructions regarding its use.
