Add Units of Measure Group to a Plant

Before you Begin:

• Make sure that you are logged in to the Plant where you want to create this Group.

• A Group once created cannot be deleted. You can only modify the details. Therefore, make sure you plan before creating Units of Measure Group.

Steps:

1. To add a Unit of Measure Group to a Plant, right-click on the workspace and select Add New Unit of Measure Group.

   

2. The "New Unit of Measure" appears. Click the icon to display its details.

   

3. Enter the following details:

   • Title: The title for this Unit of Measure Group.

     The following read-only fields also appear on this page for the user’s reference.

   • Created By: The first, last, and username of the user who created this item.

   • Created On: The date and time that this item was first saved to the database.

   • Updated By: The first, last, and username of the user who last saved this item to the database.

   • Updated On: The date and time that this item was last saved to the database.

   • Application Owner: Indicates the mechanism responsible for the creation of this Group, and will read "Mobile Operator" unless imported by an external system.

4. When finished adding Units of Measure Group to a Plant, select Save from the File menu, or click CTRL+S on your keyboard, to save the changes.

   You can now add Units of Measure Items to this Group.
