The "Repair" function was added to the Database Scripts Installation Utility in order to address the most common problems that can trouble the Views, Triggers, Stored Procedures and Functions within an AVEVA Mobile Operator database. If AVEVA Mobile Operator is not functioning properly, and the problem can reasonably be attributed to the database, it is recommended to back up the database and then use the Repair Database function.
Before You Begin:
-
Take the backup of the database.
Steps:
-
Launch the Database Scripts Installation Utility by double-clicking the ‘DatabaseScript.exe’.
-
On the Run Scripts tab, enter the details for the Connection String field similar to connection string details provided for database upgrades.
-
In the Data Link Properties window, on the Provider tab, select Microsoft OLE DB Driver for SQL Server and then click Next.
Note: If you have not installed the drivers, then download Microsoft OLE DB Driver 18 for SQL Server (x64) from the Microsoft website.
-
Select All tab and set the value of DataTypeCompatibility to 80.
-
In the Data Link Properties window, you must check the 'Allow saving password' option, the password should be present in the connection string.
-
Select Repair Database.
-
Click the Execute button.
