A Bartec RFID Pen tag is a passive read device that enables asset tagging and tracking. Because RFID tags are small and weather-hardened for harsh environments, common usage includes asset tracking of pumps, compressors, and rounds checkpoints throughout a facility.Use RFID Integration for reading a specific tag field and writing back to the same or a different field. During AVEVA Mobile Operator installation, the SuperUser enters RFID field names. See the "Adding Custom RFID Fields" the in AVEVA Mobile Operator Externalized Peripheral Settings Configuration Guide for further details.
Examples of RFID field names include:
-
ofunctional_location_number
-
oequipment_asset_id
-
udate_last_inspection
-
uservice_tag
To create an RFID integration, drag the "Bartec RFID Pen" icon from the Toolbox to the desired Task.
The "New RFID" item is selected, and the "RFID Integration" section displays the General tab.
