General Transfer Log

The AVEVA Mobile Operator system will record general information about every mobile application transfer and will record that data to the "SAT_SYNC_TRANSACTION" table in the database. This data can be then be used for troubleshooting or other purposes as needed by the user.
The "Transfer Log Details" window displays the following:

Start Time – Date and time the transfer was initiated

End Time – Date and time that the transfer terminated

Elapsed Time – Time it took the transfer to complete (shown in MM:SS)

Handheld – Name of the mobile application that was used to transfer

User Name – Name of the person (last name, first name) who initiated the transfer on the mobile application

Base – Name of the Base that was transferred against

Server Version – The version of server application used for transfer

Mobile Version – The version of mobile application used for transfer
Note: All transfers that communicate with the sync server will be logged in the Transfer Log even if the transfer fails for whatever reason. If the transfer does not show up here there may be an issue with the network that is preventing the mobile application from communicating with the server.

From the System Status "Area" click "Transfer Log" to select that function. The Transfer Log will open displaying the Data Filter and Transfer Entries in the "Details" section).

Set the "Start Time" and "End Time" and click the Apply button.

Defaults to "Now" minus 24 hours when this module is opened

Click the
icon or choose View→Refresh to refresh the Transfer Log.
Tip: You can sort grid data by clicking the column headers.
If the System Administrator has configured the Synchronization server (SAT.config) to log individual transfer details, the system will automatically record those details within the database.
Caution: Setting the Synchronization Server (SAT.Synchronization.Service.config) to log transfer details should only be used for troubleshooting purposes and should not be used during general use.
