Structure of CSV for importing Assets to AVEVA Mobile Operator

The structure of a CSV for import should use the fields listed below.

Note: The CSV file to import must use the UTF-8 text encoding.

Asset Description

Asset Description will be the Asset Description of a particular Asset.

Asset Name

Asset Name will be the Asset Name in AVEVA Mobile Operator.

Asset Hierarchy

Asset Hierarchy will be delimited by ‘/’ up to n level (Ex: D1/D2/D3/D4).

Display Name

Display Name will be the Asset Display Name.

Equipment

Value for Equipment property of Asset. It should be either YES or NO.

Allow Work Request

Value for Allow Work Request property of Asset. It should be either YES or NO.

EPC

The value of this will be EPC property of Asset.

Asset Type Hierarchy

Asset Type Hierarchy will be delimited by ‘/’ up to n level (Ex: D1/D2/D3/D4).If Asset Type Hierarchy is empty, then the Asset Type provided (without any delimiter) will be imported at root level.

Note: If the Asset Type is empty and the Asset Type Hierarchy has a value, then the import will fail.

Asset Type

Each Asset will be assigned to an Asset type.

Note: It is recommended to import an Asset Type without any delimiter (/). Importing Asset Types with a delimiter in the Asset Type column may cause hierarchy issues.

Attached property 1 to n

Asset will be mapped to the given Attached Properties as extended properties.
