Add Severity Levels

To begin adding Severity Levels, select List Manager → Edit → Severity Levels. The Severity Level window will appear.

To create a Severity Level, right-click in the Severity Level window and select "Add New Severity Level."

A Severity Level labeled "New Severity," with a Severity Level of 0, appears. Click its icon to select it and display the Severity Level Details.

Level: The number assigned to this level in the range of severity (e.g 10 to 50, in increments of ten and where 10 is "normal" and 50 is "shut down").

Title: The label applied to this Severity. Possible examples include "Pump normal" and "Pump shut down."

Color: This required field specifies the color used to represent this Severity Level. To assign a color to this Severity Level, click the ellipsis (
) button to set the color as detailed in the Standards section (See Management Center terminology and application behavior).
The following read-only fields also appear on this page for the user’s reference.

Created By: The first, last, and username of the user who created this item.

Created On: The date and time that this item was first saved to the database.

Updated By: The first, last, and username of the user who last saved this item to the database.

Updated On: The date and time that this item was last saved to the database.

Created From External System: Indicates the mechanism responsible for the creation of this item, and will read "Procedure Builder" unless imported by an external system.

After assigning a Level and Title to this Severity Level, you can continue either to add additional Severity Levels, or save the changes by selecting "Save" from the File menu or hitting CTRL+S on your keyboard.
