Task Group and Task Item - Duplicate Sequence Numbers

Task Group and Task Item - Duplicate Sequence Numbers

  • Last UpdatedFeb 26, 2025

Provides a list of Tasks or Task Group items that contain duplicate sequence number.

When you drag-and-drop or cut-and-paste a Task or Task Group items across the groups, the items might not appear in a correct order in the mobile application when you release the Procedure. This is because the items added in the group using the cut-and-paste or drag-and-drop method will contain a duplicate sequence number in the database. In such a scenario, you may have to manually fix the sequence number of the Task or Task Group items.

Resolution:

To manually fix the Task or Task Group items having duplicate sequence number, perform the following steps:

  1. Open the Procedure from the Procedure Builder.

  2. Drag and drop the Task or the Task Group item to the last position within the same Group or hierarchy.

  3. Select the Task or Task Group item and drag-and-drop it to the required position in the Procedure.

  4. Save and release the Procedure.

The duplication of the sequence number is fixed, and the item contains a unique sequence number.
