  • View Schedule: Displays the scheduling information for the selected Procedure Instance (or the single Procedure Instance in the selected Calendar cell) with all variables set read-only.

  • Edit Schedule: Edits the Procedure Schedule of which the selected Procedure Instance (or the single Procedure Instance in the selected Calendar cell) is part. Refer to Understand scheduling Procedures for more information on creating and editing Procedures.

  • Suspend: Suspends the Procedure Instance in the selected Calendar cell. This option is only available if the Procedure Instance in the cell is not already Suspended. Refer to Suspend Procedures for more information on Suspending Procedures.

  • Resume: Resumes the Suspended Procedure Instance in the highlighted Calendar cell. This option is only available if the Procedure Instance in the cell is Suspended.

  • Add Note: Adds a note to a Procedure Instance to indicate reasons for being missed, suspended, and so on. If you do not have permission to add or edit a schedule, this menu option appears but is not available. A dialog box appears for you to add the notes.

    • Notes can include any characters up to 255 characters.

    • Saved notes will be visible at the bottom of the Schedule Manager Properties Panel.

    • A red arrow is shown on a Procedure Instance if a note has been added or cleared:

    • Cut, copy, and paste actions for a schedule occurrence will not copy the note to the new schedule instance.

    • Cut-and-paste and drag-and-drop actions for a schedule occurrence will retain the note with the moved schedule occurrence.

    • An edit action for a schedule occurrence will retain the note with the edited schedule occurrence.

    • The tooltip of the schedule instance will not include the note.

  • Edit Note: Edits an existing note for a Procedure Instance.

Note: The Cut, Copy, Paste, and Delete actions appear redundantly throughout the Schedule Manager. Please refer to Procedure context menu where these functions are fully explained.

  • Cut: Deletes the Procedure Instance present in the highlighted Calendar cell and copies it to the clipboard.

Note: Deleting a Procedure Instance that has just been scheduled for the current shift time is not possible, even before the scheduling service runs. If the Instance is part of a Series, select the next occurrence in the series and delete it, selecting "Entire Series" at the delete prompt. If the Instance is a single occurrence only, it cannot be deleted; suspend it instead.

  • Copy: Copies the single Procedure Instance present in the highlighted Calendar cell to the clipboard.

  • Paste: Pastes the Procedure Instance present in the clipboard to the highlighted Calendar cell.

  • Clone Schedule: Creates an identical copy of the selected Procedure Instance or Series in the same Calendar Cell. This option is handy when the user wishes to schedule a Procedure more than once a shift.

  • Delete: Deletes the Procedure Instance (or Series of which the Instance is part) present in the highlighted Calendar cell.

If the Instance is part of a Series, select the next occurrence in the series and delete it, selecting "Entire Series" at the delete prompt. If the Instance is a single occurrence only, it cannot be deleted; suspend it instead.
