Task Group Attributes - Scan/Lock interactions tab

Select this tab if this Task Group should require RFID, Barcode, and NFC scan of itself or one of its ancestors to allow entry of the Group’s Status or access to the Group’s Tasks. Select one of the following radio buttons on this tab, as appropriate.

Note: The term "ancestor" refers to all parents (parents, grandparents, etc.) of a child, as far back as the root level.

• N/A: (Default Setting.) When enabled, this Task Group will neither require its own "scan for status" setting, nor an ancestor’s.

• Scan Point: Configures this Task Group as a Scan Point, notifying its children (for the purpose of "Requires Ancestor Scan," below) that it is the first available scan point.

• Requires Local Scan: Marks this Task Group as a Scan Point (as above); additionally, a scan will be required to enter this Task Group’s Status.

• Requires Ancestor Scan: When enabled, this Task Group requires the scan of the nearest ancestor Task Group configured either as "Scan Point" or "Requires Local Scan" in order to enter its Status.

• Requires Ancestor and Local Scan: Configures this Task Group to require Ancestor and Local scans, and as a Scan Point.
