Install the applications

You can install the applications in a single machine by the following steps

Steps:

1. Run the setup.exe.

   The AVEVA Mobile Operator Installation wizard appears.By default, the AVEVA Mobile Operator, Platform Common Services Framework, Platform Common Services Service Repository, Identity Provider, Data Server and Web Application are selected.

   Note: You can choose to install the applications in two separate machines. In that case, you can select and install the Platform Common Services Framework, Platform Common Services Service Repository, and Identity Provider in one machine, then clear the Data Server and Web Application check boxes. Run the setup.exe in another machine and then select the Data Server and Web Application check boxes.

2. Select Next.

3. Accept the License agreement.

   The Ready to Install Application window appears.

   Note: If a window appears, displaying the list of services, then you may have to stop all the services by selecting the Stop button.

4. Click Install.

   The installation process continues and when it is complete, it displays a confirmation message indicating that all the selected components are installed.

   

   • Restart your computer.

   • Select View Readme for configuring the installed applications.

   • Select Configure to continue. See Configure the applications for the final steps to complete the installation. If you are installing Platform Common Service and Identity Provider for the first time, you need to restart your system prior to configuration.

     Note: Installing the AVEVA Mobile Operator also installs Operations Control Logger and Operations Control Management Console.
