Change user password

The Change Password feature within the Management Center provides users with the ability to change their password. This feature has to be enabled in the System Settings in the AVEVA Mobile Operator web application. The Change Password feature is disabled by default.
Note: Only the following users can change password:
- User with authentication mode as 'Hybrid' or 'Local'. To know how to set the authentication
mode, refer to the help in the AVEVA Mobile Operator web application.
- An Active Directory user with local password.
To open the Change Password feature, click its entry in the expanded Administration group.
To change your password, do the following:

Enter your current password in the Current Password text box.

Enter the new password in the New Password and Confirm Password text boxes. The following rules apply:

The current and new passwords must be different.

The passwords entered in the New Password and Confirm Password text boxes must match.

The new password must comply with the password validation rules.

If Password History is enabled, the new password must differ from all stored passwords.

Click OK. The password is changed.
Note: When you are adding password in Chinese, Japanese or Korean languages, then you must consider the following points:
• If the "Password - Lowercase Character Required" or "Password - Uppercase Character Required" is enabled in the System Settings, then the password must have at least one character that differentiate between the uppercase and the lowercase.
• If the "Password - Numeric Character Required” is enabled in the System Settings, the password must have at least one character from 0 to 9.
