Shift Setup toolbar icons

The icons above the Shift Groups pane affect Shift Groups.

New: Creates a new Shift Group. Refer to Add Shift Groups more information on Shift Group creation.

Save: Saves the currently open Shift Group, including the Shifts contained within.

Refresh: Reloads Shift Group data from the database. Useful if more than one person is working with Shifts at one time.

Help: Opens the Help file to the Shift Setup section.

The icons in the Details pane under the “Shifts” heading affect Shifts:

New: Creates a new Shift in the currently selected Shift Group. Refer to Add Shifts to a Shift Group for more information on Shift creation.

Delete: Deletes the currently selected Shift, after prompting the user to ensure that the delete action was not initiated by mistake.

Click Delete to delete the Shift, or Cancel to cancel the Delete action and return to Shift Setup without modifying anything.

The icon in the Details pane under the “Bases” heading affects Shift Groups:

Add: Adds Bases to the Shift Group’s list of associated Bases.
