Log On to AVEVA Mobile Operator

To log on to AVEVA Mobile Operator

Tap the Plant list.
The list of plants screen appears.
Note: The plants screen displays the plants associated to the logged in user.

Tap to select a plant.
The plant is selected.

Tap the Base list.
The list of bases screen appears.
Note: The bases screen displays the bases associated to the selected plant.

Tap to select a base.
The base is selected.

Tap the Roles list.
The list of roles screen appears.

Tap to select one or more roles.

Optional: If you want to change the password, then select the checkbox Change password on logon.
Note: If the Change password on logon is selected for the user via the Management Console, then this option will appear selected and disabled for the user. On selecting Continue, the Change Password screen will appear.

Tap Continue.
If you have selected to change the password, the Change Password screen appears, otherwise the Dashboard screen appears. The Transfer screen appears if data transfer is required.
If the license acquisition fails, then an error message appears and you cannot proceed to the Dashboard screen. The license acquisition failure might happen because of several reasons such as license service not reachable, license unavailable, network connectivity issue, and so on.
Note:
- You can tap to select Change password on logon to change the password after logging in to AVEVA Mobile Operator.
- Only the following users can change password in the mobile application:
* A user logged in with authentication mode as 'Hybrid' or 'Local'.
* An Active Directory user with local password.

Installation Guide.
- If the Change Password on Next Login is configured for the User in the Security Manager module of AVEVA Mobile Operator web application, then the Change Password screen appears instead of the Dashboard screen. You must change the password to continue to the Dashboard screen.
- If the Password - Change Required After (Days) is configured in the System Settings module of AVEVA Mobile Operator web application, then the Change Password screen appears instead of the Dashboard screen after the set number of days. You must change the password to continue to
the Dashboard screen.
- If the Password - Change Warning Before (Days) is configured in the System Settings module of AVEVA Mobile Operator web application, then an inline message appears stating
the numbers of days remaining for the password to expire after the set number of days.
- If the Maximum Failed Login Attempts is configured in the System Settings module of AVEVA Mobile Operator web application, then exceeding the maximum failed
logon attempts locks the user. In such cases, you should contact the administrator
to unlock the user.
- If you have a valid license, you can continue to work on your mobile device even
when not connected to the network if the Authentication Password Timeout (Hours) is configured in the System Settings module of the AVEVA Mobile Operator web application. Once the configured time reaches,
you need to connect to the network to login again.
- Only the Plant or Base selected in the online mode will appear in the offline mode.
To change password

In the Current Password box, type the current password.

In the New Password box, type the new password.

In the Confirm Password box, type the new password again.

On the Action bar, tap the Save button.
The password is changed and the Log On screen appears. Enter the new password to login.
Note:
- You can tap to select Show Password to show the passwords.
- The new password must fulfill the following criteria as configured in the System Settings module of the AVEVA Mobile Operator web application:
- - The minimum characters for the Password - Minimum Characters Required setting
- - At least one letter for the Password - At Least 1 Letter Required setting
- - At least one lowercase letter for the Password – Lowercase Character Required setting
- - At least one number for the Password – Numeric Character Required setting
- - At least one of the following special character for the Password – Special Character Required setting
Exclamation mark [!], number sign [#], dollar sign [$], percent sign [%], ampersand
[&], left parentheses [(], right parentheses [)], asterisk [*], at sign [@], and caret
[^].
- - At least one uppercase letter for the Password – Uppercase Character Required setting
- - Different from the previous passwords for the Password History (Store Last) setting
- The New Password cannot be the same as the current password, and the New Password and Confirm Password must match.
Logging Settings
Levels
Level is the information required for troubleshooting the app. Each log level collects a specific set of information.
Error
Error level log has information about irreconcilable errors. Only error information is included in the log.
Warn
Warn level log has information about the processes beginning or ending, or the parameters for such processes. Error information is also included in the log.
Info
Info level log has information about the work being done. Warning and error information are also included in the log. These logs help in determining the time taken to complete a process.
Debug
Debug level log has detailed technical information for development and technical support staff. All information is included in the log.
The default value is Warning.
To select a logging level

Tap the Levels list.
The list of levels screen appears.

Tap to select a level.
The level is selected, and the Logging screen appears.
Logs
Logs are files with a specific set of information as configured in the level for troubleshooting the app.
Logs are stored in Documents\IntelaTrac\Logs folder of the device:
For example: C:\Users\<username>\Documents\IntelaTrac\Logs
Maximum Logs
Maximum logs is the total number of log files allowed at any time.
The default value is 10, and the range is between 1 and 10.
Note: If you set the value of Maximum Logs to 1, then the log file is deleted at the end of the day.
Maximum Logs Space (%)
Maximum logs space is the total memory space of the mobile device in percentage reserved for logs.
The default value is 10, and the range is between 1 and 10.
The location of the logs in the external memory of the mobile device is as follows:
For Desktop, Surface, or Tab (32 bit or 64 bit)
C:\Users\<username>\Documents\IntelaTrac\logs (Default)
Note: If user changes the document save location, then the logs location will change respectively. For example: D:\<username>\Documents\IntelaTrac\logs
If the Documents folder mapped to a network path, logs will be saved in App memory.

Tap Export to export the locally saved logs to a specific folder.
Notes:
-
The Export option will only be available if the Documents path is mapped to a network path.
The app should be restarted if the Documents path is changed to a network path, or to a local path from a network path.
Export
Local database is the database stored on the internal memory of the mobile device by default.

In the Enter password to export the database text box, enter a password.
Note: The password must contain atleast four characters, only then the Export button will get enabled.

Tap the Export button to export the local database.
The database file is exported as intelatrac.zip file and is password protected. You will have to enter the password provided in Step 1 to open the ZIP file.
Note: The app should be restarted if the Documents path is changed to a network path, or to a local path from a network path.
