Change the password

The Change Password option allows you to change the password before the number of days specified in the 'Password - Change Required' is reached. The application would prompt you change the password depending upon the value specified in the 'Password - Change Warning Before' field. To know more about these fields, see the topic Configure Security Settings.

If you fail to change the password, then you will not be able to access the AVEVA Mobile Operator applications and you may have to contact the administrator for resetting the password.

Note: The Change Password feature is enabled only for local users. The Active Directory users will not be able to reset password.

To change the Password:

  1. From the change password prompt, select the link Change Password.

    -or-

    Click the button, and select Change Password.

  2. In the Current Password field, enter the current password.

  3. In the New Password and Confirm Password fields, enter the new password.

  4. Select Change Password.

    A confirmation message appears, indicating that the password has been changed and the login screen appears. Login to the application using the new password.
