Managing the Bluetooth Peripheral Devices consists of selecting the appropriate Device Type and entering the information for that device. The device instances are now Plant scoped. Therefore, the instances created will be specific to a Plant.

Name - This is a site-configured identification of the Bluetooth device used to assist when performing device pairing in the field. Use device identification and numbering methods that will be consistent across the site and various devices.

Up to 50 characters (e.g. "RFID01," "TEMP01,"," et cetera)

MAC Address – This is the globally unique "Media Access Control" number that has been assigned to the Bluetooth radio installed in the selected Bluetooth peripheral device.

Security PIN – Also known as the "Passkey", this value is device-type specific.

The Passkey for the Raytek MX4+ NI Temperature Gun with Bluetooth is "1234"
