Troubleshoot the Microsoft Visual Studio C++ installer issue

During the upgrade of AVEVA Mobile Operator, when the common installer fails to automatically install the Microsoft Visual Studio C++ Runtime Redistributable, the upgrade stops.

Perform the following steps to troubleshoot this issue:

• If you have an earlier version of Microsoft Visual Studio C++, then:

  1. Uninstall the Visual Studio C++2015-2019 from the system (both x86 and x64).

  2. Run the Setup.exe file from the \Products\Common Install folder.

• If you do not have Microsoft Visual Studio C++ installed on your system, then:

  3. Install Visual Studio C++ 2015-2022 from the Common Install\InstallFiles\Redist\VC2022 folder manually.

  4. Restart the system.

  5. Run the Setup.exe file from the \Products\Common Install folder.
