Add Data Filters

  1. To begin adding Data Filters, select List Manager → Edit → Data Filter. The Data Filter window will appear.

  2. To create a Data Filter, right-click in the Data Filter window and select "Add New Data Filter."

  3. A root-level Data Filter titled "New Data Filter" appears. Click the icon to select it and display the Data Filter Details.

    • Title: This required field, which is limited to 50 characters and must be unique within its group (e.g. among its siblings), represents the Data Filter as it will appear elsewhere in AVEVA Mobile Operator (e.g. in Auditor Plus).

    • Color: This required field specifies the color used to represent this Data Filter. To assign a color to this Data Filter, click the ellipsis () button to set the color as detailed in the Standards section (See Management Center terminology and application behavior).

      The following read-only fields also appear on this page for the user’s reference.

    • Created By: The first, last, and username of the user who created this item.

    • Created On: The date and time that this item was first saved to the database.

    • Updated By: The first, last, and username of the user who last saved this item to the database.

    • Updated On: The date and time that this item was last saved to the database.

    • Created From External System: Indicates the mechanism responsible for the creation of this item, and will read "Procedure Builder" unless imported by an external system.

  4. After assigning a Title and color to this Data Filter, you can continue either to add additional Data Filters, or save the changes either by selecting "Save" from the File menu or hitting CTRL+S on your keyboard.
