AVEVA™ Mobile Operator

Communication ports for AVEVA Mobile Operator

AVEVA Mobile Operator requires that communication ports to be available for proper operation of the system.

  • Sync Service – The port configuration for the Sync Service is done via the server installation.

    • Default Port - 5800

  • Database Server – configured for SQL Server.

  • Data Server - Port configuration can be done via Configurator. For more information refer to 'Configuring the Data Server' section in the AVEVA Mobile Operator Installation Guide.

  • SDK Service - HTTP port configuration can be done via Configurator. For more information refer to Configuring the Synchronization Server and SDK Service section in the AVEVA Mobile Operator Installation Guide. The TCP ports are only configured by editing MobileOperator.SdkService.exe.config file. The following are the default ports for HTTP and TCP.

    • Http - 9762

    • CustomHttp - 9700

    • TCP - 8732

    • Custom TCP - 8700

The ports for the services are mostly user configurable. The following table provides you the default ports assigned for a service and the recommended port type.
