Tab Context Menus

Right-clicking a Tab in the Procedure Workspace will display a Context Menu specific to tabs and to Procedures, or the type of List, the tab represents.

This section details only the context menu elements specific to tabs and to the majority of List types or Procedures. For options available per List type, see their subsections under List Manager.

• New Horizontal Tab Group: Creates a new Horizontal Tab Group and populates it with this tab.

• New Vertical Tab Group: Creates a new Vertical Tab Group and populates it with this tab. Refer to the Tab Groups section below for more information regarding Tab Groups.

• Close: Closes the clicked tab.

• Close All: Closes every tab in the Procedure Workspace, including the tab clicked.

• Close All But This: Closes every tab except the tab clicked.

• Save: Saves changes to a modified List or Procedure.

• Expand All: Expands all Parent items in the List or Procedure, if applicable.

• Collapse All: Collapses all Parent items in the List or Procedure, if applicable.

• Validate: Checks this List or Procedure for errors, returning either success or the number of errors present. Objects containing errors are then highlighted in red, allowing the user to easily find and correct them.

• Tag List: Displays a read-only list of all Tag attributes configured in this Procedure, as pictured below.

  

  Note: Tags containing special characters used for arithmetic (* / + -) or spaces must be placed within brackets when appearing in Calculation Expressions.
