Condition Attributes - General tab

Configure the following settings as desired.

• Title: This required field aids in the identification of this Condition in Web Reports and is limited to 255 characters.

• Data Filter: Selects the Data Filter (see Data Filters) to apply to this Task if the Calculation Expression is evaluated as true.

  • Click the ellipsis () button to open the Data Filter browser, click the desired Data Filter from the Browser that appears, and then click OK.

  • Click the "X" () button to clear the associated Data Filter.

• Severity: Selects the Severity (see Severity Levels) to apply to this Task if its if the Calculation Expression returns true.

  • Click the ellipsis () button to open the Severity browser, click the desired Severity from the Browser that appears, and then click OK.

• Calculation Expression: Defines the evaluation performed. If the evaluation returns true, then the Data Filter and Severity (see below) are applied to this Task for auditing purposes, and any Actions, Tasks, Task Groups, or Decisions set as children ofthis Condition are executed. There are two ways to enter the Expression:

  Using the Expression Editor:

  1. Click the chevron "drop-down" button () and then select "Expression Editor."

  2. Click the ellipsis () to enter the Expression Editor.

  3. Refer to The Calculation Expression Editor for instructions regarding the Expression Editor’s use.

     Using the Default Value Selector Wizard:

  4. Click the chevron button () and select "Default Value Selector."

  5. Refer to Condition Wizard for instructions.

  Note: Calculation Expression evaluation will end at the first condition evaluated "true."

  Tip: If configuring a large number of Conditions, consider opening the Data Filter and Severity Lists in another horizontal tab group, and dragging the desired Data Filter or Severity into the appropriate field (see List Groups and Items to a field).
