The AVEVA Mobile Operator application is categorized into various sizes mainly: small, medium, large, and extra-large applications based on the following parameters: Transactional Data and Number of Assets.

Transactional Data: Number of entries in the SAT_TRANS_DATA_ITEM table.

Small Applications:

Transactional Data (in millions)

50-75 million

Number of Assets

10000

Medium Applications:

Transactional Data (in millions)

Between 75 to 125

Number of Assets

Between 10000 to 1,000,000

Large Applications:

Transactional Data (in millions)

Between 125 to 175

Number of Assets

Between 1,000,000 to 2,000,000

Extra-Large Applications:

Transactional Data (in millions)

Between 175 to 225

Number of Assets

Between 2,000,000 to 6,000,000

Following is an example of how the Throughput is calculated based on large applications:

  • Throughput of 400 active users performing various activities in an hour means:

    Around 65 to 75 % users performing mobile activities, 15 to 25 % users performing Management Center Activities, 10 to 15 % users performing SSRS report activities, and around 3 to 5 % users performing web activities.

The following is an example of Management Center activities:

  • Scheduling Procedure

  • Viewing Auditor Plus report.

  • Updating a Procedure and releasing a procedure

  • Adding or Updating the List Manager Item

  • Updating the Group permissions

The following is an example of Mobile activities:

  • Executing a Procedure

  • Performing a Sync

The following is an example of Web Application activities:

  • Adding the Organizational units

  • Changing the System Settings at Plant or Tenant level

The following is an example of SSRS Report activities:

  • Retrieving Scheduled Reports

  • Retrieving Exception Reports
