Add Response Groups

  1. To begin adding Response Lists, select List Manager → Edit → Response Lists. The Response Lists window will appear.

    First, a Response Group must be added at the root, after which additional Response Groups can be added at the root level or as children.

  2. Right-click in the Response List window and select "Add Response List to Root."

  3. The root level "New Response List" item appears. Click its icon to select it and display the Response List Details.

    • Title: The title of the Response Group as it will appear in Procedure Builder. Type an appropriate Title in the provided space; for example, for a Response Group containing the responses "Low," "Medium," and "High," the Title "Low/Med/Hi" is appropriate.

      The following read-only fields also appear on this page for the user’s reference.

    • Created By: The first, last, and username of the user who created this item.

    • Created On: The date and time that this item was first saved to the database.

    • Updated By: The first, last, and username of the user who last saved this item to the database.

    • Updated On: The date and time that this item was last saved to the database.

    • Created From External System: Indicates the mechanism responsible for the creation of this item, and will read "Procedure Builder" unless imported by an external system.

  4. After assigning a Title to this root level Response Group, you can continue either to add additional Groups by using the "Add Response Group" option, or add Responses themselves. When finished, select "Save" from the File menu, or hit CTRL+S on your keyboard, to save the changes.
