Validate Procedures

Before a Procedure can be marked Released (which is necessary to enable scheduling), it must first pass Validation, which ensures that the Procedure is configured properly.

Note: Validation is also performed automatically when saving a Procedure.

To check a Procedure for errors:

  1. Open the Procedure for edit, if not done already.

  2. Right-click the Procedure’s tab, and select "Validate."

    Note: Alternately, you may click the "Validate" icon () on the toolbar.

  3. Next, refer to the appropriate section below depending on whether the "Validation Successful" message appears.
