After importing Assets through the Management Center, close and reopen the Management Center application.

If all Assets in a database are at the root level and all assets to import are at the root level, then the import and export to a database runs much more quickly.

While importing a large number of assets, the importer may show as "not responding" until the import finishes.

When processing the asset that is deleted in the database, it will create another record entry in the Asset table as 'Deleted'. Therefore, it is recommended not to reprocess the deleted Asset in the database.

In an XML file, if the Parent Asset node is marked as "Deleted" and the children under it are not marked as "Deleted"; then all the attached properties for the child Assets will be marked as "Deleted" after the import. Therefore, it is recommended that you perform one of the following actions before importing the file:

• Mark the children under that Parent Asset also as 'Deleted'

• Only provide the details of the Parent Asset marked as 'Deleted'.

Import and export of Procedure is supported only if the client applications have the same language and culture.
